Sponsorship Progress: School Year 2016-2017

With the ever-increasing number of children in Kingdom Message Ministry School, our sponsorship program is constantly blossoming. Thank you, sponsors, for your continued kindness to the children of KMMS.

The following chart shows the current breakdown of sponsored children, those who can afford to pay a minimum school fee (about 1/3 of the total cost per child), and children who are waiting for a sponsor. If you would like to sponsor a child in KMMS, please do not hesitate to contact us at news@kingdomfoundationph.org.

Meet Brother & Sister Magalona

By Sister Nancy Asbill

On this day, June 27th 2016, I am attending a seminar held at the Karaga Hotel in Butuan City, Philippines. The seminar’s focus is to teach and instruct over thirty young adults in the truths from God’s Word about God’s plan for men and women as laid out in the pattern God gave Moses. The four day seminar began on Monday the 27th and would continue through Thursday the 30th.

Edmar & MedlynSince we are in the Philippines we need a translator and that would be Brother Edmar Magalona. He and his wife, Sister Medlyn, brought these thirty plus young people to the seminar. This is not an unusual thing for them to do as they have had a burden to spread the gospel for over twenty-three years. This is not the first seminar the Magalonas have attended at the Karaga Hotel. The first was back in 2012 when, for the first time, they heard the Kingdom of God message and how God is looking for perfected sons, as the word says in Matthew 5:48, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. As they were hearing this word, something began to stir within Sister Medlyn’s heart. You could see them as in Acts 18, Aquila and Priscilla standing before us. I am jumping ahead a bit, so let me come back to the Karaga Hotel today.

During the lunch break I sat down with this special couple to talk with them about their marvelous testimony. We need to go back in time over thirty years ago to begin to unfold to you, the reader, how God moves in mysterious ways.

Brother Edmar C. Magalona was raised by his parents with his three sisters in Bangonay, Jabonga, Aguson del Norte, Philippines. His parents were of the Catholic faith, so all the children followed as well. Since Brother Edmar was the only son, his parents favored him very much and had hopes and plans for their son.

As a young man he found himself drawn to those in town that liked their alcohol, so he began to drink. Over time, alcohol was not enough and he began to use drugs. At the young age of thirteen he found himself going down the wide path to hell and destruction. The militants were gathering the young people and Brother Edmar found himself amongst the ranks of activists.

At the age of twenty Brother Edmar, with a fellow militant, sneaked into the Filipino Army base and stole guns, running back to the mountains where the group was hiding out. Of course the army was not going to put up with that so they sent soldiers to Brother Edmar’s parents’ house and threatened his mother, “you get your son to come down from the mountains and surrender,” or else the mother and father would pay the consequences.

Even though Brother Edmar had been a rebel now for a while, he still loved his parents and agreed to come down from the mountains. A plea bargain was worked out and the Army agreed to only put Brother Edmar in prison for three months. Brother Edmar would not like to relive those three months because of the beatings he was given, but something amazing was at work even during the prison time.

In the same village of Jabonga there was a young lady two years yonger than Brother Edmar and her name was Medlyn. Sister Medlyn grew up in Jabonga with her three sisters and four brothers. Her parents knew Jesus as their Savior and when Sister Medlyn was ten years old she went to a camp where an evangelist brought the gospel message and she gave her life to Jesus. From that point on she wanted to know more of Jesus and when she grew up she wanted to marry a Pastor. Having been raised in the same village at one point, Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn met. Sister Medlyn’s goal was to get Brother Edmar saved; Brother Edmar’s goal was to marry this beautiful young lady.

When Brother Edmar was twenty and Sister Medlyn was eighteen, they made a commitment to each other to get married. Sister Medlyn’s parents were not in favor of this idea at all. Sister Medlyn kept praying for Brother Edmar. When he went to prison Sister Medlyn brought her Pastor to the prison to speak to Brother Edmar the gospel message. Sister Medlyn would bring her guitar and sing gospel hymns to Brother Edmar, hoping that would soften his heart.

During this time Sister Medlyn was having doubts about her commitment to marry Brother Edmar and she went to his parents to ask them to release her from this commitment. Sister Medlyn had an uncle in Cagayan de Oro City and so she “ran away” to go to his Bible school.

When Brother Edmar heard about her decision, he became quite discouraged and when he was released from prison he fell back into his old ways of alcohol and drugs.

At this time Sister Medlyn still liked Brother Edmar but was afraid of what he was involved in. She asked her uncle for permission to write Brother Edmar and invite him to a Bible seminar to be held in their church. When Brother Edmar got the letter she wrote, he decided to go. It was through these meetings that Brother Edmar came to know Jesus as his Savior.

This was in 1985 and now Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn went back to Jabonga to be married. Because they both now had a desire to know more about Jesus they decided to go back to the Bible school in Cagayan de Oro City.

Their first son was born a year later. Since all they had been taught in their church and school was in order for them to spread the gospel, Brother Edmar needed to be a Pastor. So that is what his pursuit was after.

They lived in Cagayan for ten years, Brother Edmar working by day at the steel mill and weekends and nights pioneering a new church. Four children were born during this time: Johannan, 28; Mamre Joy, 23; Zimrittope, 22; and Dexto Ray, 19.

Through these years Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn worked together opening churches and doing an outreach to the mountain people.

In 1996 Sister Medlyn and the children moved back to Jabonga, while brother Edmar continued working at the steel mill and coming home on weekends.

Sister Medlyn said Cagayan de Oro City seemed like the land of Canaan to her and Jabonga like the land of Egypt. Sister Medlyn’s uncle was concerned about their decision to move back to Jabonga, “how will they financial handle it” he said, but they wanted to minister to the young people and reach out to the natives in the mountains.

She prayed five years for her husband to be able to quit his steel working job and to be with her in Jabonga.

When Brother Edmar joined his wife in Jabonga, they began to do mini-crusades and through that began to build house fellowships. It was at this time a friend approached them with the thought of opening a Bible school of their own.

Some of the young people they met needed help, some from broken homes and others in various sorts of difficult situations, so before they knew it they had many young people living with them. At this time they have 20 young people that have lived with them for 12 years.

As the result of encouragement from a missionary from America as well as a friend from Cebu City, they opened a Bible school in Jabonga. The whole thought of the Bible school was to train these young people to be pastors until one day in 2012 when God began to show them His plan.

Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn in their walk with God have desired to know the truth.

When they came to that first meeting in 2012 and heard about the Tabernacle and God’s desire for man to only have one head and that is Christ Jesus, it all seemed so new to them. At first Brother Edmar did not like what he was hearing, but Sister Medlyn’s heart began to burn within her knowing what she was hearing was ringing true. After the meetings they would go home and look up the scriptures and discuss the word.

It took some time, but after much prayer and seeking God both Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn began to understand what God was saying in Ephesians four, how God gave the five-fold ministry for the perfecting of the saints. That God uses His people to spread the Gospel, but that God wants a body of people working together in total obedience to Christ the Head.

As Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn began to see the truths in the Word of God, they shared their excitement with the missionary and also their friend, but to their surprise the missionary and their friend rejected what they told them. It resulted in the Magalonas having to move their Bible school from the facility their friend donated and losing the financial support they were being given.

Today Brother Edmar and Sister Medlyn see God’s hand of grace and mercy throughout the whole situation. Now the Bible students are more involved in learning the Word as they want God’s truths. They no longer want to be pastors but want to be sons of God, because that is what they have discovered in God’s Word.

As Sister Medlyn said, “We really received what we have desired not just to be open in our hearts and minds but most of all to LIVE the truth in our lives and to bring us in the knowledge of knowing to be a son.”

The Magalonas have been married 29 years now and rejoice in all God has done for them.

They shared this testimony as an example of how God’s divine hand of protection has been with them. One day the Magalonas were traveling from Butuan City to Jabonga on their motorcyle. By the way, sometimes the whole family would be on one motorcycle with Brother Edmar driving with two children seated in front of him and his wife and two other children in back of him. On this trip it was just the two of them and Sister Medlyn had not put her helmet on but was carrying it on her arm, when she heard a voice softly say, “Put your helmet on.” She obeyed the voice and within minutes a dog ran out in front of them and Brother Edmar could not avoid the collision. Sister Medlyn went flying over her husband approximately 18 meters (59 feet) and then she rolled over and over six times. Brother Edmar in the meantime is concerned for his wife but he is suffering some wounds to his face, shoulder, and arms. Eye witnesses could not believe it – Sister Medlyn was unhurt with only a wound on her left fingers. Praise God!!

Through this couple’s testimony and desire to see people saved, many have come to know the Lord including Brother Edmar’s parents before they died.

The Magalona’s feel very blessed to see God moving over and over again in their lives. They are also quite happy to have a 2 year old grandson and 3 month old granddaughter.

Meeting this happy couple has truly been a blessing and we pray with them as said in their own words, “God bring us into all truth!” Amen!

Edmar & Medlyn 3

Dear Brethren,

Greetings to all of you today.

It is now Monday, July 4. We, the mission team, are at the airport in Butuan waiting to board our plane that will take us to Manila. There  we will spend the night in a hotel. We will be leaving early Tuesday morning for our flights back to the USA.

Since our last report we have been quite busy. The schedule has been full and we have basically been going non-stop since we have arrived. The meeting schedule has been quite full having had 16 meetings in 8 days. Although it has challenged all of us, both physically as well as spiritually, we can say that the presence of Elohim has been mighty in our midst and very evident.

Sunday, June 26th, we traveled for an hour outside of Butuan City to Brother Ben’s fellowship. It is a small fellowship that is somewhat off the beaten path and the road that takes us there is not in the best condition, especially since it is the rainy season and everything is quite wet and muddy. The road itself is very narrow and has many pot holes which are filled with water. There are rice fields that are on both sides of the road and at times these encroach upon the road itself.

It was not our first time at this fellowship and we have made this journey several times before. The brethren have always welcomed us with open arms and seem to appreciate the word that we are bringing to them. Brother Mark shared a word that brought a conviction to sin and we are trusting that we will see the fruit manifested in their lives. We must also say that we are always humbled by the graciousness of these people. They have a limited ability to prosper, but they always demonstrate their hospitality toward us. This is not the first time that they have used their limited resources to feed us.

That following afternoon we went to the fellowship that meets at the KMM School on Sunday afternoon. The meeting was filled with many parents and children from the school. To our great surprise, in honor of our coming many of the parents brought gifts of all types of fruits. There was a presentation ceremony in which the parents and children presented these gifts of fruit to us as representing all the sponsors who have been supporting their children. The quantity of the gifts filled a long table. We were so blessed to see them give what little they had in their desire to bless those who have been supporting their children.

Fruit Gift

On a side note, every year the Parent’s Association volunteers a project as a way of saying thank you for the KMM School support for their children. This year they are planning to cement the rough dirt and rock floor that is in front of the stage area. It is quite a large area yet they want to supply not only the materials, but the labor for it as well. It will be quite an undertaking and we look forward to the finished project.  It is a great blessing to see the parents contribute back to the school with this gift of appreciation. Praise the Lord!

The word in the afternoon, which was brought by Brother George, was for many to put their trust in God and praise Him for all things. A good portion of the parents are new at the school so many were able to hear God’s plan of salvation for them.

The following day would be Monday, June 27th, the beginning of the four day seminar with the Bible School from Jabonga. Thursday, June 30th, would be the last day of that seminar. This year we did things a bit different than in the previous years. We had decided that we would hold the seminar at the Hotel Karaga where we were staying. The reason for the change is that the Lord had given us a word of admonition that due to activity of a subversive element that was working against the elected government in the Philippines, and the island of Mindanao in particular, that we should restrict our travel to the areas in and around the city of Butuan. In the course of time we witnessed that we had made the right decision. It was determined that Brother Edmar and his wife Medlyn would drive all of the staff, as well as the students, the two hour’s distance to attend these meetings. This time of seminar would also include some of the brethren in the Butuan area as well. All in all, there were approximately 30 to 40 in attendance. We would have a meeting in the morning then we would break for lunch. Food was provided for the brethren and it turned out to be especially good for them so that they could concentrate on the word of God. After lunch we would have another session in the word that would last somewhere between two to three hours. The meetings were so structured as to provide the time necessary for everyone to return to Jabonga before it was dark.

Brother Burt opened the conference with a word that was speaking about the Prophetic Nature of God and the creative power in that prophetic word to transform us from the fallen nature and darkness that inhabits our soul into mature Sons of God. He continued on with this theme in the succeeding messages that he shared.

Brother Mark brought several messages on the Golden Altar of Incense taking the congregation into much detail. He shared not only on the quality of it, but also the failure of many who had desecrated this altar and the judgement that comes because of the desecration of this fifth piece of furniture.

Brother George shared two messages on two dreams that God had given to him. The first message was on overcoming the Prince-and-His-palities. Also included in the message was an outline of Satan’s Kingdom. The second message centered on the importance each one of us play in this end time. Throughout the conference and in each of the messages there was a definitive thread of one’s progression and purpose in relationship to the Tabernacle.

During the last meeting there was an invitation that was given and everyone in the room desired to repent, dedicate, and consecrate themselves before the Altar of God. What a tremendous response to the four day conference. Praise the Lord!

Conference 3

Friday morning brought us back to the KMM School for some more administration work. We also had two sessions with all of the children – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  Sister Nancy taught on the parable of building your house upon the rock as well as the parable of the sower and the seed. There was a puppet show in the afternoon that the children enjoyed very much. We were also able to teach the children action songs. One of the first was the song “I’ve Got a River of Life” and the second was “Anoint My Head.” Oh, how the children loved it and, I might add, so did the staff. At lunch time there was a meal that had been prepared for us as well as the staff. There is something about the comradery that you share in the breaking the natural bread together. We have to say how we are always amazed and continue to be blessed with the dedication of the staff, the growth and development of the children, and the order that is being established in the classes, as well as on the playground and activities.

On Saturday at the KMM School we conducted two meetings with a number of brethren, elders, and young people who have committed their lives to serving God. Brother Burt brought an excellent word on the necessity for us to be ensamples as elders. He walked us through the Tabernacle sharing on the deception, not only in the denominational structuring, but also in religion; the deception that takes away as well as diverts the people of God from the plan and purpose He had intended for them. He laid a platform of the negative aspects that deprive the individuals from coming into the nature of God; sharing some of the practical things of life and lifestyle. He then shared the positive aspects of the lifestyle that God intends for His sons as thy walk in obedience to Him.

On Sunday we had our last two meetings. The first meeting was held at Brother Lito’s fellowship. Brother Mark ministered on Godly child training. He went into many scriptures that reinforced the need to train up children on a daily basis. We were encouraged to take to heart the examples in scripture of those who made mistakes and pray for the courage to change in our own personal lives and have the strength to apply Biblical training to our children.

In the afternoon we returned to the school where we were greeted again by the brethren, new parents, and children. We wanted to continue to teach the children the two action songs that were shared at the school on Friday. Something wonderful happened in that everyone, adults as well as children, participated with the actions. Young ones, older ones, young parents, even all of the fathers began to sing and praise the Lord. It was a great joy to see them being blessed, joyful, and happy, especially when we sang the song “Anoint My Head.” Praising the Lord brought such a joy to all of us. After the songs the word came forth with an admonition by Brother George to “Study to show thyself approved” when it comes to diligence in daily reading the word of God. It will be a challenge for some of them; for there are several who do not know how to read. We have begun to set up classes for parents who are illiterate as well as to provide them with audio devices that play the Word of God in their Cebuano language.

In closing, we believe it has been a very fruitful and productive time here in the Philippines, at the Bible School, at the KMM School, as well as among all of the brethren that are hearing the Kingdom Message.

We also want to thank each of you for your prayers and support while we have been here. We could feel the strength of your prayers and we also prayed for you, our brethren at home many times. Many thanks also to Rita and Sue who stood the night vigils for their husbands as we labored here.

God bless you, our dear brethren, for your faithfulness and love for us. We are eternally grateful to each of you.

Sincerely and in Christ’s love,

Burt and Nancy Asbill

Philippine Mission Trip Report I – June/July 2016

Dear Brethren,

Greetings and God bless each of you today.

It is now Saturday afternoon here in Butuan and we are all doing well here by the grace of God.

We arrived in Manila safely on Wednesday evening and had a much needed rest to catch up on the two days of travel that it took for us to get to Manila. On early Thursday afternoon we traveled by plane to Butuan and we were met by a number of the brethren who had come to the airport in Butuan City. We were especially humbled by some of the brethren traveling over 2 hours just to greet us. From there we went to the Hotel Karaga where we will stay as well as where the seminar will be held. After checking in we had a time of fellowship with the brethren before they left for their homes in the evening.

The following day, which would be Friday, we spent at the Kingdom Message Ministry (KMM) School. This was the second week into the students’ new school year so it was a very busy time for everyone. The day was spent with Brother Mark Jantzi giving health and hygienic teachings in each of the classes, Sister Nancy Asbill conducting four interviews with the older students, and Brother Burt Asbill and Brother George Herrig doing administrative work with Marissa, the principal, Cherry, our administrator, and Allan, our guidance counselor.

Overall, with each of us doing their assigned task, we had a very good and fruitful day of work at the school. The school is growing, not only in numbers (197 children), but most importantly in its quality of teaching and molding the children to become productive children of God in a very dark world. We marveled at the overall operation of the school and the dedication of our school staff. They are doing an excellent job and we do appreciate our administrator, Cherry, and our principal, Marissa, whose oversight has brought such an orderly and smooth running school operation to pass. To say the least we were/are very blessed. As an additional blessing we also had a wonderful time of lunch and fellowship with the staff during the noon time.

To those of you that have sponsored children, we want to encourage you as well as assure you that your children are getting the best education (both naturally and spiritually) from the sacrifices and the offerings that you have given. These children (from the poorest of the poor) are being redeemed from lives that would otherwise put them on the street or, at best, would have fallen through the cracks of humanity that would have put their level of schooling on a sub-par level. In each of the grades a number of them are on the honor roll and the vast majority of our students maintain at least an 80 percentile level of achievement. That is almost unheard of when you realize that most of the students’ living conditions are, comparable to ours, often quite severe, both on the social level as well as their natural living environment. The school does not only focus upon the children, but it also produces a major change in the parents as well. Many of the parents have given their lives to the Lord and, as a result of that change, are actively involved with the school to see that their children excel in their attendance and studies. It is difficult for us to express to you how exceedingly blessed we are and how wonderful it is to see so many of these children grow up in the past 5 to 6 years – from kindergarten all the way up to the current level of 6th grade. They are maturing into many fine young men and women for the Kingdom of God.

Today, Saturday, is our only open day so we will be taking advantage of it for a much needed rest. It seems it takes several days for our bodies to adjust to the time changes. We will also be having some good fellowship with Sister Merlinda as well.

Tomorrow, Sunday, we visit a fellowship outside of Butuan City in the morning and return for the fellowship meeting at the KMM School in the afternoon. For this activity we covet your prayers.

Starting Monday, we will be hosting a four day seminar in the Hotel Karaga Conference Hall with the students (both current and former) and faculty from the Bible School in Jabonga. There will be other brethren in attendance as well with an expected group of about forty persons to be in attendance. Please pray for these upcoming meetings and that God’s presence and anointing be in our midst. We return on Friday back to the KMM School where we plan to have some biblical teachings in the morning and afternoon for the children. Saturday will consist of two meetings with the various elders, their wives and brethren. Our last day, Sunday, we will have two meetings; the morning meeting will be at Brother Lito’s house and the last meeting to be held at the fellowship hall at the KMM School.

We do thank each of you for your prayers and intercessions on behalf of the team that has come and for what God wants to accomplish here among His people. Our hope and aim is that by the time we leave here, we will have a good report of the presence of God that will touch many and make a lasting change in the lives of all of us. We know it is not only for us here but for all the brethren that stand with us at home and abroad to see the will of God accomplished here in the Philippines.

God bless you,
Philippine Mission Team

Philippine Sewing Project

You may recall that almost one year ago we wrote about how we were inspired by the story of a woman who had the goal to sew 1000 dresses to send to little girls in Africa before she turned 100 years old. (She not only met, but she more than surpassed her goal!) Her story gave us the idea to make dresses for all of the girls who attend Kingdom Message Ministry School in the Philippines. After sending out a letter telling about the dress project, we had many people respond back very excited that they could participate. Ladies in Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Texas, and even the Czech Republic began sewing dresses; some of them even having “sewing bees.” If you are wondering who our seamstresses are, our lovely volunteers are grandmothers, mothers, single young ladies, and even some very talented young teenage sewers. Every dress they sewed was created unique to make each little girl feel special and loved.

Following you can see a few samples of the final product:

When we discussed making dresses for all the girls, we knew we wanted to do something special for the boys at Kingdom Message Ministry School, as well. An idea that several people had was to purchase new shirts for each of the boys. For this portion of the project we had some very special grandpas and grandmas who had it on their heart to provide the money needed to buy all the shirts.

After all the dresses were finished and all the shirts were purchased, they were then organized according to how many of each kind and size that was needed for each class. The dresses and shirts were bagged and labeled and prepared for the next leg of the journey.

It was for the mission trip to the Philippines this past February that Brother George Herrig so kindly offered to take the two extra suitcases needed to transport the 82 dresses and 98 shirts to the children. After delivering the packages to the administrator of KMMS, the dresses and shirts were distributed to the children. On Friday of that same week, all the children wore their new clothes to school. It was perfect timing for all the brethren who traveled to the Philippines for the mission trip to see and photograph the culmination of this portion of our project.

If you are wondering what the next portion is, well, efforts are already underway to sew dresses and purchase shirts for all the children in the Reaching Beyond Words program in Ethiopia. We will look forward to reporting on the success of this project as well! If you would like to participate in this or any of our upcoming endeavors, feel free to contact us at: info@rbwonline.org.

We would like to thank every single person who has been involved and contributed in any way to these projects. Acts 20:35b says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This scripture has come to life in this endeavor for surely the joy and excitement of each volunteer has been infectious and marvelous to behold. Thank you for your exuberance and willingness to so freely give! Our desire in this project was to convey our love and encouragement to each of the children – to let them know that not only do we care about them, but even more, that Jesus loves them. The smiles on their faces and the beautiful thank you cards they created indicate that our mission was accomplished.

2016 Summer KMM School Extra Expenses

Dear Sponsors & Friends of the KMM School,

Our recent 2015-2016 school term ended in March and summer school began in April for all students that were in need of reinforcing their learning skills. We are so grateful for such a tremendous year with over 182 students in attendance. We are also very grateful for the generous donations of many that made it possible for us to have weekly feedings for the school and staff for the entire 2015-2016 school term. This is a very needful and essential program to help the children get a well-balanced meal with meat, rice, and vegetables.

For this month of May the staff is concentrating on preparing the KMM School for another school term which begins in June.

As we have done in the past years, we continue to add a grade to our school so we do not lose our current students in the highest grade; therefore, we are hiring a new teacher for the sixth grade.  Our total enrollment will be set at 205 children.

When the team from the U.S.A. were at the school in February, it was necessary to make an assessment on repairs and improvements that would be needed for the upcoming school term.

Some of those improvements are:

  1. New screening on windows in the main building.
  2. Leveling of ground and new flooring in front of stage area.
  3. Light fixtures and clear roof panels for the ceiling of the stage and seating area.
  4. Additional fans for several of the new classrooms.
  5. Constructing a secondary roof to reduce heat in an existing room that will now be used for a classroom.
  6. Construction of chairs and tables for the sixth grade.
  7. General painting of rooms and furniture as needed.
  8. Purchase of 75 chairs for events and assemblies at the stage area.
  9. Building sound barriers to reduce the street noise.

We have put together a list of items that the KMM School will need to cover the materials and labor for reconstruction and summer repairs. In addition, we have also included in the list the needs for staff uniforms and for the indigent children without sponsors for the cost for their books and uniforms.

We put these needs before you to prayerfully consider them and what your participation might be to help defray the cost.

02 Crowd & Guests 2Presently we have 99 children who are sponsored on a monthly basis as a student at the school. There are 55 sponsors from the U.S.A., 40 from the Czech Republic, and 4 from Nigeria. In order for the school to be fully supported through sponsorships, we are in need of at least 70 more sponsors. If you know of anyone that would like to sponsor a child, please contact us for more information.

Also remember, 100% of every dollar that is donated for sponsorship and support of the school is given directly to the KMM School.

Reaching Beyond Words is also a 501(c)3 organization so ALL contributions are tax deductible with the U.S. Government.

We do thank you for your faithful support on behalf of the school. May God bless you for your diligence and sincere hearts in supporting those that are considered the most destitute in the Philippines.

God bless you,
KMMS Team

Moving up & Recognition Program 2016

We praise the Lord for the success of the children and Kingdom Message Ministry School during 2015-2016.

The Department of Education released the official theme to be used for the 2016 graduation ceremonies nationwide, “Kabataang Mula sa K to 12, Tagapagdala ng Kaunlaran sa Bansang Pilipinas.” It focuses on the quality of K to 12 Basic Education Program as a transformative vehicle for local and national development.

We would like to thank the teachers for their dedication to the children, thoughtful planning and time invested in the lives of each and every one of these little ones. Their love shines through in the results. We would also like to thank the parents who have willingly given their time and raised such wonderful children.

New Eyeglasses

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, several of the KMM School children who struggle with eye problems were provided free glasses.

Since last year, both Kurt’s and Ronald’s glasses were accidentally broken so the boys had to receive replacements. Briah, a little 1st grade girl, was given her first pair.

Please find the following short note from Ronald’s grandmother:

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am so much thankful to all of you for the eyeglasses you gave for a second time to my grandson, Ronald. Praise the Lord that my grandson is one of the recipients of your program for providing eyeglasses to the KMMS children. I am also grateful that we belong to the KMM School.

May the Lord continue to bless you all and the KMM School.

Thankfully yours,
Eva Napana

We would like to thank you all for this provision to the KMMS children.

May the Lord continually bless you and keep you.
