January 27 marked the 2nd Foundation Day of our school for the indigent children. Every school in the Philippines assigns one day each year for a special event for the children and their families. In our school, it is January 27. The children put up a small performance and there is also a meal provided for all those present.
This year the children and their families once again gathered together for a sweet fellowship. The children had their program well prepared – they recited Bible verses, poems, and performed an interpretative dance. The littlest ones showed us a fisherman’s boat – they fished for both fish and people. Daniel and the lions were not missing either.
The day continued with sharing a fellowship over a nutritious meal that none of the families can afford on regular basis. All in all, the Lord has again provided for making this special event possible. We are very greatful to Him for all His care for us.
