Language Month Celebration

The time had come once again for the Filipinos to celebrate the National Language. In 1937 Filipino was announced to be the official language of the Philippines. This language is a mixture of Spanish words and English alphabets. This year’s celebration theme was called, “Filipino: Wikang Mapagbago” (“Filipino: Language of Change”).

Kingdom Message Ministry School observed the festival by holding a poem, singing, and dancing contest. Our children were divided into two categories. The first category included Kindergarten through Grade 3; the second category included Grades 4 through 7. Pupils of Grade 3 under the advisory of Teacher Adonis Artista won the first category. The second category was won by Grade 5 pupils under the advisory of Teacher Lovella Lapasanda. Everyone enjoyed their time together very much as you can see in their happy faces.
